I absolutely love these shorts and they have quickly become my go-to for specific activities. I purchased the Black in size Medium, and the fit is exactly what I was hoping for. They are extremely versatile and comfortable.Detailed Fit and Intended UseSizing & Fit: I got the Medium and love the snug, athletic fit. They aren’t compression-tight, but they are sleek and flattering. I found them to be completely true to size.Primary Use (5-Star Performance): I bought these mainly for swim meets and beach cover-ups where they might get wet. For this purpose, they are phenomenal. The material is lightweight and dries quickly, and the fit is perfect for throwing on over a swimsuit without looking bulky.Pockets: The pockets are a huge bonus—deep enough for a phone or keys without being saggy.Honest Limitations (Setting Expectations)To be a truly helpful reviewer, I want to be clear about the short’s limitations based on my body type:The 2.5″ Inseam: While I love the short length, they will ride up a bit when you sit down. This didn’t bother me at all, but it’s something to be aware of if you prefer full coverage when bending.Running: I do not recommend these for distance running if you have thighs that touch and are prone to chafing. The athletic fit and short inseam mean there’s not enough coverage to prevent rubbing during high-impact movement.The VerdictI am giving these shorts a strong 5-star rating because they excel at the activities I purchased them for: water-based events, lounging, and casual wear. Easy to wear!
Mine ran a bit big for my size, but I kept anyway. They’re cute, and feel lightweight. Seem like they would dry quickly. Wash well. Fabric feels good. Wear easily! I’ve worn them on repeat 👍

Love these
I love these shorts. They are soft and comfortable. They wash very well and I’ve worn and washed them many times over the past few years without any issue. The material is thick and stretchy, the waistband is comfortable. They are higher waisted but still feel like they cover everything. I keep them folded in a drawer but they don’t really wrinkle which is great. I have several pairs in different colors and I will probably buy more colors!

I love these shorts! They are light and very comfortable. Pocket is deep enough to hold my iPhone while walking. Great value for the money. I have them in the colors white, black and deep blue. High quality fabric.

Butter shorts!
I am OBSESSED with these shorts, I call them my ‘butter shorts’ because they are so buttery soft! I am 5’6″, normally 115 pounds (currently 125 pounds and 12 weeks pregnant), and the XS was and still is a super comfortable and flattering fit. The side pockets are deep enough to hold a phone. I originally got these in black, and after wearing them at least twice a week for the last 3 months, they are still in really great condition after being washed and dried so many times (just a teeny bit of pilling on one of the butt cheeks). I bought a second pair in the olive green color which I like, but they’re more of a sage green, almost teal-grey, and I prefer the black ones to them. I plan on buying more black pairs in slightly larger sizes as my pregnancy progresses. Seriously cannot recommend these enough.

These shorts run small. I wear a medium to a large and purchased a 2XXL and they fit good. I ordered them in a light grey and received an off white. Material is interesting. Not in a bad way, just wasn’t what I was expecting. I will keep them even though not the colour I ordered. No washing instructions anywhere on the shorts or in the packaging.

HANDS DOWN THE BEST SHORTS. I own all the lulu shorts and this one has beat them fair and square. They’re high waisted, super comfortable and functional. I love the fabric of these as they don’t look too “sporty” and honestly are just so adorable. I wish every single one was on prime because i would have every colour. couldn’t recommend enough!

Really nice material. Stretchy but soft. Good sized pockets. My phone fits but I couldn’t run with it in there or even walk briskly. Fit was good. I could have fit in a small with a more snug fit but I like the medium fit. A bit looser.
