Hard to Find–Surprised It’s On Amazon
We’ll start with the important part: I probably have 3b – 4a hair types…I say “probably” since I haven’t had a professional grade my hair, but I have looked up what the different types look like and I have taken an online test. I have a mix of hair types that include tight coils, curls, zigzags, and straight. I also only pick my hair when it is wet, so I have not tested this pick in dry conditions since I never attempt anything with my hair when it’s dry.Now, onto the product…I typically use a comb with wide, curved teeth similar to these picks. However, the list time I found such a comb was over a decade ago IN CANADA, specifically, a local beauty shop in Montreal. I made that purchase only b/c I accidentally forgot my beloved comb at home and only that comb would do.Now, I can’t find such a comb anymore, which became a problem since the teeth on both my combs eventually broke.Luckily, Amazon has this pick. While it is not my beloved comb grip design and I wasn’t sure about the sizing much less if I needed two picks, I ordered this since the tooth design met what I was looking for. Also, I figured I could keep the smaller pick in my travel bag so I am never without an appropriate instrument for my hair, considering I can no longer hop and skip to a store for such an item.Upon receiving these picks, I found the grip comfortable and the teeth to be what I was looking for, though I did end up needing a comb for styling, which I found in the Wet Pick Detangling Comb, which somehow works in my hair, and which you can more easily fine everywhere, including Amazon.Also, I ended up breaking the teeth of the larger of these picks in my attempt to untangle a bird’s nest of my own doing in my hair, i.e. by not keeping up on hair maintenance for a while. To be fair, after giving up on picking the bird’s nest out (yes, I used detangling conditioner, but it didn’t matter), in a match up of scissors 0, hair 10, I also broke a pair of scissors trying to cut it out…with that said, there is no durability issue with these picks. In fact, I’ve been having to soak my picks in 130 degree plus water of late due to a lice infestation–just my luck…The picks have held up just fine.Needless to say, I hope Amazon keeps carrying these. They’re fairly priced and I find both picks usable in my hair type. Both the large and small picks have a comfortable and sturdy grip, and they are also comfortable to use in my lengthy hair.

Feels sturdy, was looking to replace oneI lost made by another brand in about the,1990’s or early 2000’sThis one ‘s individual prongs are offset which isn’t bad just different as is the handle which is narrower than the hair picking section of the pick, I would have preferred the handle to be wider as that would have been easier for my aging hands to grasp firmly.
