I also love that it has anti-scald features—no more worrying about burning my fingers while trying to section my hair.The 1.25” barrels give a soft, natural wave that looks like you just left the beach. My waves lasted all day with minimal product, which honestly impressed me because my hair usually doesn’t hold a style very long. The dual-voltage feature is another bonus for travel.It’s comfortable to hold, not too heavy, and the pink color is super cute. The clamp feels sturdy and the temperature controls are intuitive. High quality and fun to use even for extreme beginners
It was a hard choice between the bed head brand and this one. Since I bought it mainly for my daughter, I chose this one since it had a lot more protection from burning yourself. Boy was I pleased with my purchase! I’ve seen this brand all over Facebook but thought it was probably a scam and didn’t work well like it showed but I was wrong. This waver was worth every single penny. My daughter has pin straight hair and she’s jealous of my natural beach waves. I can’t use a curling wand to save my life so I never could give her good curls. This thing is so easy to use. You just set the temp, set a timer, and go to work in sections of the hair. It beeps to let you know when to move down. It’s very high quality. All my heat tools are bought from actual salons and I will say the TYMO waver is the same, if not better, quality of my stuff! I love that you can see the heat temp go up as it’s heating too. I mean this is geared towards very beginners and experts so you can’t go wrong. It also auto turns off if you aren’t using it for more than several minutes as a safety feature. I can also set this in my counters and it does not leave it super hot just warm.

I bought a hair beach waver because I wanted effortless, tousled waves that scream “I woke up like this”—and honestly, it delivers. My hair looks like I just stepped off a sun-kissed boardwalk in Malibu, even if I’ve been nowhere near a beach in months.The waves it creates are gorgeous. Soft, loose, and natural-looking, with just the right amount of volume. It heats up fast, clamps easily, and doesn’t leave weird creases or awkward bends. I’ve used it on freshly washed hair, second-day hair, even slightly damp hair (don’t tell my stylist), and it still gives me that perfect beachy texture.But… here’s the catch: it leaves a faint burnt hair smell, like my strands just got back from a bonfire party they weren’t invited to. It’s not overpowering, and it fades after a bit, but it’s definitely noticeable right after styling. I’ve tried using heat protectant sprays and even scented oils, which help mask it, but the smell still sneaks through like a stubborn little gremlin.That said, I keep using it because the results are worth it. I get compliments every time I wear my hair wavy, and it holds up all day—even through humidity and naps (yes, naps). If you can tolerate a little post-styling funk, this beach waver is a total win.

Way better than I anticipated. You can get a natural look at 160ºC, with a 4 second timer, that lasts for a good while. I did my hair before going to sleep and only touched up a few strands in a morning (less than 5 minutes), it still looked super cute by the end of the day. There’s a small learning curve, but on the first try I already loved the results. Couldn’t recommend this more.If you’re split between the waver and the automatic curler, this one gives more volume, while the curler does very tight curls. I have both and definitely prefer the wave look.
