Fun and it works as advertised
It’s fun and easy to use. I happen to know how to hula hoop already so there was no learning curve for me. It works well and I’m working up to using it for longer and longer. It hurts your knees mostly and lower back as you need to keep your body fairly tight to keep it spinning and the motion isn’t like a true hula hoop, it’s more of a waddle back and forth on each leg which ends up hurting the knees. In normal hula hooping you rotate your hips in a circle and the pressure is more on the hips than the knees. Because this device uses a weight, it ends up a slightly different rhythm but it absolutely does count as cardio. Give it a shot, I’m enjoying it so far

Bought two of these — one for me and one for my 15-yo granddaughter.She uses it more than I do, uses it daily and is doing well at it. Shes taken off a few of the sections already.Whatever gets you moving is always a good thing!!

Does not glide easily. We returned it.
We returned it. It was not an easy glide, therefore hard to use.

Weakest Links serious problem.
Links started failing after a couple of months. Weighted ball caused entire unit to come off my body and head across the room. Past the return window, so it went to the garbage. Seemed unsafe to use after the 2nd link failed.

Not hula accomplished, but getting the hang
I was never good at hula, even as a kid so this is definitely a challenge for me. Took many days and tries to figure out what body movement gives a continuous motion. I have a bad left hip that needs a replacement and a bad back, so it makes it more challenging.Ive had to build up slowly but today after purchasing weeks ago, Im finally up to 14 continuous minutes. We’ll see how it promotes further weightloss as I am also on zepbound.
