No goo or sticky sensor to clean up between uses.
Needed extra protection for my guardian sensor than the adhesive strips that come with the sensors from the manufacturer..The center doesn’t have adhesive where the sensor goes this helps to keep the sensor from getting sticky and messy. So far I’ve used these twice and I do believe it’s helping to keep the sensor more secure and lasts the full days expected. Will continue to buy these.

Like a round cloth Bandaid
I am trying out a Lingo sensor and was worried about how well it would stay on, so I ordered several brands of patches to test out. Turns out my sensor is staying on just fine on it’s own, but I am glad to have a few different patches around just in case. I came up with the idea of testing them ahead of time without a sensor so that if I didn’t like them, I wouldn’t be worried about disturbing an expensive sensor trying to prematurely remove them. That’s how I came to be wearing my sensor on the back of one arm and one of these patches with nothing under it on the other arm. These patches apply like the others I have tested where you peel off a couple center backing strips, position the patch and then remove the two outer strips to finish applying. I did have a little trouble with the first two strips and came close to sticking the patch to itself, but got it on ok. It was secure during movement and sleeping and through a shower, but the shower showed one weakness to me – this patch is like the woven cloth bandaids and when it got wet, it stayed wet for about 30 minutes. It felt a little uncomfortable while drying, though not unbearably so. The part that covers the sensor has some plastic backing, so I assume that would protect the sensor from water a bit though they are all supposed to be water resistant. I peeled the patch off after a couple days and yowza, it’s like ripping a big old bandaid off – do it fast! No sticky residue left behind and no irritation on my skin. These come in a zippered pouch with two packs of patches that look identical, but one packet has 12 and one has 13 – I counted – so the pack is indeed 25 patches.

Adhesive works great
Did not clearly state these were for Freestyle Libre 2. I needed Libre 3, they fit ok but my numbers have been all over the place. Problem is I have had a lot of faulty sensors, so can’t say for sure the patches are the culprit. They stay on great though.

Not waterproof at all
Packaging states 100% waterproof… to my frustration come to find that if the bandage gets wet it will detach from ones arm. But still manage to glue itself to the cgm and pull that off your arm. Only saving grace for myself is I’m not on an insulin pump requiring a cgm. Would not recommend this product.

Decent Overpatches For The Price
The Adamson Guardian 4 Sensor Patches (25-Pack) are decent overpatches for the Freestyle Libre’ 2 Plus Sensor, especially for the price. The center is free of adhesive so you don’t run the risk of pulling the sensor off if the overpatch needs to be changed. Being cloth, we found the Adamson Guardian 4 Sensor Patches to not be 100% waterproof and rarely lasted the full 15 days.

Absolutely brilliant for Guardian G4 sensor. They stick really well. At removal there is a non stick centre so transmitter is not all sticky. They have completely taken the anxiety out of sensor changes. Highly recommend 👌
