Best bang for the buck out there for a high end fitness watch
I’ll start by saying, I received a Trex pro as a gift years ago, and I’d never heard of the watch or the brand prior to that day. Fast forward a couple of years, that watch became my every day watch and it converted me into a fitness/smart watch fan.Now to the Trex Pro 3. A little treat for myself since I liked the original pro so much. This is a more expensive upgrade of the pro 1, but it’s a fantastic watch once again. It does everything the trex pro did well, but now does it slightly better. I’m a huge fan of the addition of the mic and speaker (so you can genuinely use the watch to answer calls or automate pulling up functions of the watch). I’m also a huge fan of the built in flashlight. So far, I use that just about every week and the red light is particularly nice for those with early wake up calls and others sleeping in the house still.As usual, battery life on the new trex pro model is unreal. That was the single biggest deterrent of me entering the smart watch market years ago, and the trex pro 1 blew my mind, often giving me weeks between charges. The new pro 3 is just as amazing. If you are a heavy user like myself, it’ll prob last 12-14 days between charges. If you aren’t regularly tracking gps runs or workouts, you’ll get well into the 20 day range.I also love the quality feel of this watch and the materials they used, everything feels super high quality and durable. As somebody who’s also used Garmin watches and run competively for years, I have to say, the GPS accuracy has been an extremely welcome bonus for me. It’s generally very accurate and right up there with the other top running GPS signals in my opinion. I’ve been less impressed with GPS on apple and some other watches in the past.The final thing I’ll say about this watch, the app is a highly underrated bonus. It gives a LOT of great workout detail (not quite as much as maybe Garmin but way more detail than most). The app also has a lot of great features that make it truly underrated fitness watch if you are a big fitness or outdoor person. Biocharge is a cool new feature, the new sport additions and improvements to strength training workouts are very welcome changes, and there are pretty respectable food (think myfitnesspal) and sleep trackers as well.Overall, I’m a huge advocate for this watch and think it’s one of the best bang for your buck high-end fitness watches on the market. I love Garmins too don’t get me wrong, but this is right up there with Garmin for about half the cost.

This is the absolute best watch. I went through four smart watches until I got to this one. It is so amazing, so strong and scratch resistant. It tracks the sleep perfect and it is beyond accurate! The sleep tracking and fitness tracker are soo dang accurate. The durability of this watch is beyond what I can explain in words. I slash it at the gym, I hit it ok everything. I work in small spaces doing hvac and the flashlight is a life savor. The color option for this size is only black which I was disappointed in, I would have liked orange or yellow or white. But, black is good and professional and looks amazing

Better than my other smart watches
This is awesome..I have a Garmin instinct 2, I also have a amazfit 2, but I really like this more.The Garmin is great, but it requires a steep learning curve to learn all the functions. This T-Rex is great I have been wearing is for about 3 weeks.. easy navigation good battery life and great health app. For the price it is it better than many high end smart watches. This is better in my opinion than the Samsung G watches… Can’t speak to Apple as I never own one of those….

Garmin is lazy and expensive don’t sleep on amazfit
LOL Amazon just asked if this met my expectations… This watch makes Garmin look bad if you want a sports watch this is the one. $399 is cheap compared to the competition which this watch crushes without even trying. My only complaint is that the straps are hard to attach, but you’re only gonna do that once. I still have my T-Rex 2 and I actually considered throwing it away, but it is still in decent shape after years of abuse I will give it a good home I also recommend the Active 2 (premium) if you want something that looks a bit more casual

NO RETURN COMPLETED, BEWARE
Bought this watch (T-Rex 3 Pro), it looks great but works poorly when paired with an iPhone. It wasn’t a good fit for what I wanted. I return the watch in the same packaging and shipping box, its been over 2 weeks and nothing back on the return. It shows return received but no update with the money being refunded. This watch is $400, if the return processes I will update this review but I may have to work with Amazon and AMEX to get my money back. At this point, it more of a buyers beware warning if the watch isn’t a good fit for what you are wanting out of your smart watch.

Beautiful watch
I’ve been using the Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro for a little while now, and I’m honestly impressed with how tough and reliable it is. The build feels solid and rugged, perfect for workouts or outdoor adventures, but still looks stylish enough for everyday wear. The display is bright and clear, even in sunlight, and the battery life easily lasts several days, which is a big plus. I really like how accurate the fitness tracking is, especially the heart rate and sleep monitoring, and the GPS locks on quickly. Overall, it’s a great balance of durability, smart features, and value for the price.
