My New Favorite Workout Shorts — Comfortable, Flattering, and Actually Practical
These have officially become my new favorite shorts. The length is perfect (short but not too short), and the thick waistband is amazing — soft, comfy, and holds everything in without feeling tight or restrictive. The fabric is lightweight and quick-drying, and I’m obsessed with the double-layer design. The outer layer gives you room to move, and the inner layer keeps everything covered… especially during squats, lunges, or anything where you’re in motion.The zipper pocket on the side is a huge win — it actually fits a plus-sized phone and keeps it secure while running or working out. No bouncing, no slipping, no worrying.I’m 125 lbs, usually a size 4 in pants, and I ordered a medium because I didn’t want these to be skin-tight since they’re on the shorter side. They fit perfectly — even slightly on the loose/comfy side, which is exactly what I wanted.I already own two colors and fully plan on grabbing more. These are cute, functional, and ridiculously comfortable.

Perfect summer shorts!
Just perfect! These shorts are so comfortable but cute! They are breathable and even have a zippered pocket! They are not too short, and the built in unders help prevent anything from peeking out. They don’t dig into my stomach either. I probably could have gone with a small, but decided on a medium. I was worried about them being too tight in the tummy area, which they definitely are not! They are not too big though, and still look flattering; just a little more poof in them. Would highly recommend! I’m 5ft 4 and about 118 for reference.

Overall a great pair of shorts
Comfy & cute- fit well! Overall, these are one of my favorite pair of shorts. My only complaint is the fact that they only have one pocket and it’s on the left side. Being right handed, it’s kind of an inconvenience when I went to go slip my phone into it. I am constantly trying to put something in a right pocket that doesn’t exist. The pocket does zip which is a definite positive and everything else about the shorts is great.

The BMJL Women’s Athletic Shorts (High Waisted, 2.5″) have become my absolute favorite workout shorts! As someone who’s always struggled to find athletic shorts that are both comfortable and flattering, these have been a total game-changer for my fitness routine. The high-waisted design is incredibly flattering and provides just the right amount of compression without feeling restrictive or rolling down during workouts.What I love most is how versatile these shorts are—I wear them for everything from intense HIIT classes to casual walks around the neighborhood. The 2.5″ inseam is the perfect length for me, not too short to feel self-conscious but short enough to allow full range of motion during squats, lunges, and running. The fabric is soft, breathable, and has excellent moisture-wicking properties that keep me comfortable even during sweaty workouts.The pocket is a fantastic feature that I use constantly for my phone, keys, or earbuds. It’s deep enough to keep things secure but positioned perfectly so nothing bounces around while I’m exercising. The stitching is high-quality and has held up beautifully through dozens of washes without any pilling, fading, or losing elasticity.For such well-made, comfortable athletic shorts, the price was absolutely the best I found compared to name-brand alternatives that cost twice as much. I’m definitely buying more in different colors and have already recommended them to my workout buddies. These shorts have made me actually look forward to getting dressed for the gym! These shorts are very comfortable. I bought these in a medium and they fit, I then bought another pair in medium and they were much smaller. Just realized the first pair I was sent was actually a large. There is a white tag on the inside of the pants (about half way down) this tag will tell you what size you actually have.

I am usually a medium in clothes so being running shorts I bought a large. Not sure what size people these were made for but our Miss 13 couldn’t get them on and she is tiny. The product itself seemed fine but as I couldn’t get them past my knees I can’t give you any other info
