My go-to skin reset! – Great for ALL ages
I’ve bought these masks multiple times and they never disappoint. I’m not the best at keeping up with a daily skincare routine, but these are my go-to reset. They’re super moisturizing and always leave my skin feeling refreshed and plump. I’m in my early 40s and love the glow they give me—and my mom (65) is also a big fan! She loves how soothing and hydrating they are. Even my 12-year-old daughter can use them—they’re gentle, not harsh at all, and great for young skin too. Honestly, they work for all ages in our house!

I use this brand’s serum and cream daily and love how they have improved my skin’s texture over time. I saw the masks on Amazon and had to give them a try. Used the mask for the first time today and love how moisturized my skin feels. The mask went on smoothly, fit my face well, does not smell and comes off easily. It is very slimy as expected but that does not bother me, because I know that means more mucin power. I also followed the directions and just patted the mucin and let it dry after taking off the mask after 20 mins- did not rinse off. It is a bit expensive but I highly recommend the product.

Not every mask or product works for everyone, but when you find one that works for you… I just started using masks not long ago & while I like the collagen variety, this snail mucin is the one I am now subscribed to. The others work really well, but I was able to feel immediate results with this one. Also, it works very well with the rest of my minimalist skin care routine.Because they are so thin & slippery, the masks can be difficult to remove from the inner wrapping& get in place. I end up getting the part around my mouth IN my mouth half the time. These are thinner than the gel masks I’ve used because of the nearly tissue-thin material. However, they don’t slide as much as the gel ones and stay in place – once I get them in place.What I like most is that the essence just works better for my skin needs. Everyone is different & I have noticed that snail mucin happens to be what my drier and more mature skin loves. I wash my face and after leaving the mask on for around 20 minutes (and sometimes longer, if I am busy), my skin feels super hydrated. I apply some bakuchiol niacinamide (that my skin also loves, my regular moisturizer and, for daytime, my sunscreen. For nighttime, instead of sunscreen, I apply a little Vaseline or something similar.It’s nice that you get 10 masks in a pack. I am using one about once a week but might use more depending on how dry our winter is. I find that the masks are affordable because they replace so many other moisturizers. This stuff really hydrates my skin, and I can see an improvement after adding it to my routine the past 2 weeks.

Amazing Hydration, but a Bit Too Slimy with Excess Essence
The COSRX Snail Mucin Sheet Mask is one of the most hydrating masks I’ve ever used. My skin feels so soft and plump after each use, and it gives me that dewy glow I absolutely love. The snail mucin is great for boosting moisture and repairing skin, which makes this sheet mask perfect for anyone dealing with dry or dull skin.However, I did find that there’s almost too much essence in each mask—so much that it tends to drip and get a bit messy. While I appreciate the extra hydration, it feels like a lot of it goes to waste, and the texture is definitely on the slimy side. I wish they could balance the amount of mucin better to avoid that overly sticky feeling.Despite that, the results are worth it, and I usually pat in any extra essence on my neck and arms, so it’s not completely wasted. Overall, if you’re looking for an intensely moisturizing mask, this one will definitely do the trick—just be prepared for a little slime overload.

I am new to this Korean skincare/beauty brand, but had read several glowing reviews, especially about the Snail Mucin Sheet Mask, I decided to give it a go.Up front, the mask is slimy which shouldn’t come as a shock given its main ingredient (96%) is the slimy secretion produced by snails. Best not to think about that, and no, snails are not harmed to extract the slime.Downside: Because the mask is slippery, it can be tricky to apply, and there is a lot of mucin, so much so, I apply the extra to my arms and hands. Even so, it can feel a tad sticky, but there is very little scent.Upside: One of the most hydrating, moisture boosting masks I’ve used, and my skin really does feel soft and look brighter afterwards.Sheets come in packs of ten and I think the cost is reasonable and the results, very good. I use the mask either at night before bed, or before an event to brighten and plump my skin.
