I prefer shampoo and conditioner bars, and Kitsch has proven to be top notch. I’ve purchased the Rice Water Protein bars several times, and they work wonders on my hair. They cleanse and nourish my scalp while leaving my hair softer, stronger, and noticeably healthier. The most impressive result I’ve seen is faster, healthier hair growth when using this product consistently.The only drawback is that, with continued use, the bars gradually shrink and can break into smaller pieces — though the quality and effectiveness remain excellent.

Thrilled I Found Kitsch
I originally bought Kitch’s sampler pack and liked the rice water shampoo and conditioner so much that I bought the full size. It’s my first time using shampoo and conditioner bars and, even though there was a little learning curve at first, I was surprised how well they worked.The shampoo manages to effectively clean my scalp while also making my hair feeling soft. It hasn’t irritated my sensitive scalp and leaves it feeling fresh instead of red and irritated. I found its best to lather it on your hands, then apply it. The scent is light and is true to the white tea and mandarin description.The conditioner really surprised me. I use a lot of liquid conditioner, so I assumed that the bar version wasn’t going to cut it, but I was wrong. I swipe or “paint” it down my hair and let it sit until the end of my shower and it’s as if I used liquid conditioner. My hair is soft and hydrated, but still maintains a little lift. I’ve used them everyday for 3 weeks, skipping the conditioner and replacing it with the hair mask once a week, and so far the shampoo looks like new and the conditioner looks roughly 75-80% of its original size. I would have run through a 28oz liquid conditioner by now, so that’s really saying something. I think the key is to make sure they’re in a well ventilated area that doesn’t get hit with water often. I’d 100% recommend – Hope this helps!

Impressive Bar Duo
My sister advised me to try this bar shampoo and conditioner. She had been using it almost a year and was impressed with the results. She is 5 years younger than I am and was concerned with her hair breakage and loss. She is so happy with this product and when her hairdresser noticed the improvement, she finally told me about it and urged me to try it. I have a love hate relationship with my hair. I hate it and it loves to torture me. Just because it is as old as I am, doesn’t mean it is the boss of me.I have been using this product for a few weeks now. I have noticed my hair is much softer, and has a shine to it for the first time in years. I am on a lot of medication and it has been damaging my hair. So far, I am impressed with this bar duo. I do need to give it more time, but so far I am liking it. Thank you little Sis. Love you.

A better shampoo and conditioner bar
I waited until I had a few washes in to make a review, and the results are in: it’s good!I’ve been trying to find a shampoo that meets a few specific requirements, which is easier said than done. One, it must make my coarse and unruly mane of hair less of a hassle to manage. Two, it must not interfere with my ongoing issues of shedding and scalp irritation. Three, I don’t want to contribute more to landfill waste than absolutely necessary. Four, it needs to clean my hair well without relying on harsh chemicals that irritate my scalp.Yes yes, I know, I’m picky and sensitive about my hair products. But these bars meet 3.5 out of 4 of my needs (we’ll get to that half-point). The shampoo and conditioner are both great. The shampoo lathers and cleans like a liquid shampoo, and the conditioner applies easily and leaves my hair silky, stronger, and full of volume. Point one, check. It also doesn’t seem to irritate my scalp or contribute to shedding. Point two, check.The paper packaging is fantastic… though I’m not a fan of the bars themselves being wrapped in plastic sleeves that aren’t recyclable. Modern Mammals manages to use only cardboard packaging, so I don’t see why that’s not possible here. Still, it’s less plastic than a full bottle, so I’ll give it half a check.Fourth and final point; no harsh chemicals. It scored an 86/100 (“Excellent”) on Yuka, so that’s a check!I’ve tried other bar shampoos before, and they either fall apart too quickly or don’t lather or clean well (Modern Mammals, unfortunately, had both of those problems). So far, that’s not the case here. These bars are sturdy and hold up well to thick hair. Plus, they’re budget-friendly compared to liquid shampoo.I just wish they didn’t use plastic in the packaging, but otherwise, great product!

Just started using about 2 weeks ago
I bought the travel size ones to bring on vacation not knowing anything about shampoo bars. I was pleasantly surprised with the results. I can’t comment on hair growth but I can say that my hair feels light and fluffy and wonderful using these bars. I was quite shocked. Another thing I have definitely noticed is my hair isn’t shedding like it was, that is a fact and I like it! I bought two sets of these bars now, one being the rice protein shampoo and conditioner and the blue bars since I’m gray. I alternate between them. If my hair grows in thicker I will come back and comment. I put all my Biolage and matrix products away.

Definitely different. I like the concept but it’s hard to get used to for sure. My hair still hasn’t changed or I haven’t noticed anything. I’m giving a 3 because I like the smell of the shampoo, the conditioner smells kind of funny. I also think it kind of weighs my hair down so I don’t use much of that but my hair has to have conditioner. I am crossing my fingers and toes that it works soon. Also I bought the shampoo & conditioner, then the bags for each, then the brush, then the spray bottle, all separately (same order) next day they have a special you get bags free scalp massage thing free and I think brush free too. I felt like I got ripped off.

Questa marca è fantastica e questo kit funziona che è una meraviglia.Parto dal presupposto che i miei capelli sono normali, mossi, così come anche la mia cute e normale, ma tende a seccarsi e far prurito sulla nuca.Ho visto tante pubblicità di questo brand e incuriosita ho iniziato a spulciare e curiosare il loro sito, trovando delle chicche fantastiche.Ho fatto l’ordine da sito, ma siccome era in ritardo e io necessitavo comunque di uno shampoo in quanto quello vecchio era finito, ho trovato fortunatamente questo kit qui su Amazon e devo dire che è perfettamente come quello “originale”Questo set in particolare mi ha davvero stupito, lo shampoo lava bene e il balsamo idrata senza appensatire. Hanno una leggera profumazione dovuta a ingredienti naturali presenti nel prodotto.Io per di più faccio sempre oiling pre shampoo +maschera / oli sulle lunghezze e punte e devo dire che lo shampoo il suo lo ha fatto. Riesce a produrre schiuma (in quantità minute rispetto quelli liquidi) e lavare bene tutto, lasciando i capelli leggeri e morbidissimi al tatto. Il balsamo invece lascia i capelli morbidissimi, si risciaqua facilmente e una volta asciutti sono belli lucidi. Per me quindi è promosso, assieme anche alle altre versioni. La cosa importante, con qualunque shampoo, è alternare sempre con uno shampoo purificante per pulire bene la cute

Im not one for ever leaving reviews, had the shampoo and conditioner bar in my bag for ages, and I just ran out of my salon sized liquid shampoo and conditioner, so I thought I’d give these a go.Came today and used tonight. The shampoo actually lathers really well, my whole head was a huge bubble of shampoo. Rubbed it in my hands first and then just straight onto my hair, used the conditioner the same way, felt really soft when the conditioner was on.Once washed off I blow dried my hair- it feels really silky and clean.Definitely be using this from now on. I need to buy the little bags for them to go in. Overall really happy
