I am reviewing the Koville Marble Tray, 12″x8″ Marble Vanity Tray in Rosso Norwegian at the cost of $42.99.As someone who appreciates natural stone, I had high hopes for this tray. When I opened the box, my first reaction was confusion. The color is nothing like I imagined based on Rosso Norwegian marble’s reputation for those beautiful pink streaks and defined veining. Instead, what arrived looks like a spotty white-green slab with faint carrot-colored slivers that barely register as pink. The texture feels like raw, unfinished stone rather than the smooth, polished marble you’d want gracing your bathroom counter. Without any sealant, this tray is basically a sponge waiting to soak up every drop of moisture, soap residue, and cosmetic spill in your bathroom, which makes it risky for the exact purpose it’s sold for.When stacked against competitors like the Threshold Rectangle Marble Tray at Target ($40, sealed and polished with 4.4 stars) or the Juvale White Marble Vanity Tray ($37.86, also around 12 inches), this Koville falls short on finish quality despite costing more. Those alternatives offer properly sealed surfaces and consistent appearance. The rubber stoppers on the bottom are genuinely helpful and prevent sliding, but that single positive can’t make up for a tray that looks more like a construction sample than a refined home accessory. The natural variation excuse only goes so far when the result is this far from elegant.Skip this one unless you’re okay with a lackluster, unsealed marble piece that requires immediate sealing work and won’t deliver that classy, Instagram-worthy vanity moment you’re after. For a few dollars more, you can get something that actually feels refined and won’t turn into a stained mess after a month of bathroom use.

This is a good size tray for my bathroom vanity. My husband and I use it to organize our toiletry items such as toothpastes, Q-tip jar, floss, hand soaps and lotions. The tray looks nice and sturdy, and it is easy to clean.
