The first time a sensor has lasted me 14 days
I just started using the Freestyle Libre sensors and I went through 4 of them in about a week. Two didn’t activate correctly and the other two fell off within half an hour of going outside. I don’t sweat much and I wasn’t sweating those two times so it had to have been the adhesive giving way. One lasted 3 days and the other only 4.With the patchabetes I’ve had my first sensor stay in for 14 days. I’ve accidentally scraped it against a couple of things (book case, door jamb) and I’ve been outdoors in 115 degree heat with it. I’ve showered with it and I’ve even woken up several times during the night to find myself scratching at it (the sensor, not the patch)I will buy these again when needed and would recommend them to anyone who wears a sensor. They stick well and you don’t even have to think about them once they’re on.

These should be much better for the price.
I use these to cover my FreeStyle Libre 2 badge. I just replaced it 3 days ago and the patch is already half peeled up. The glue should last longer. I’m already more than half way through this pack of patches. I will say they start to peel on average 3 to 4 days after application. I have used other patches (skin tone ones) from another maker and those lasted the entire 2 weeks for my sensor, even with swimming and showers. I sneeze and they peel off without touching. I have even gone the route of using SkinTac and the patches maybe only last an extra day before starting to peel. The glue is junk. And just cause I wanted a cool color, in this case blue, instead of skin tone or black, I paid $25 for 20 patches, when you can get 30 skin tone colored ones for $18, or 25 black ones for $20. I won’t be buying this brand again.

    For the Fashionista…lol!
Yep I’m a fashion diva with diabetes!…rocking the Freestyle Libre! It’s summer…swimsuit weather…sleeveless shirt weather, so I had to find something other than the skintone patches, which are really fine if you’re not exposing your upper arms. These patches seem to be doing a great job blending in with whatever I’ve been wearing. I teach aqua aerobics and aqua zumba, and they stay in place, the edges are clean. Best of all, people have stopped exclaiming “OMG, what did you do tyo your arm?” LOL!

    Not comparable to other patches
I have a Guardian Sensor 3. I purchased these patches because they are reasonably priced, and I like to try different patches to see which ones I prefer. I will not purchase these again. My sensor stays on for 7 days, so I need a patch to last that long. These patches start peeling up around the edges after 2 days. After 4 days of normal wear, I must change the patch because it is almost completely off. I work inside so I don’t sweat excessively. If I go to the gym, swimming or something outdoors they have to be changed more frequently. Do not recommend.

All sticky – no clear spot for sensor
These were a little more expensive than the plain sensor patches but they do have color – sounded good so I ordered. On arrival, the patches backing is not scored – one has to pull on the patch to stretch it which tears the backing paper so it can be removed for patch application. It was odd but worked so I continued. Next, I noticed that the patches do NOT have a non sticky spot for the sensor. I often fail to center the others completely which results in a little sticking to the sensor but these are completely stuck. This becomes a problem when the patch starts coming loose after only 3 days – loose from my skin that is – it still stuck ot the sensor pretty well which made it a little more difficult to remove by myself to make room for a new one.I do not think I’ll be buying these again.

Lasts for almost 14 days on a Libre but no non-stick area for the Libre. Doesn’t irritate my skin!
I actually cut these to be a little smaller so they don’t cover as much skin just as a preference. I’ve tried other patches such as FixiC – waterproof adhesive and one other brand that was more oval than round. So far these are the only ones that don’t irritate my skin and make me itch like crazy. In fact the oval ones (wish I could remember the brand) had me itching for a week even after I took it off when it started itching. So I love these from a irritation stand-point.Unfortunately there isn’t a adhesive free area for the Libre I wear, so it sticks straight to my skin AND the Libre. Which means once the patch starts to fray and wear as it approaches 14 days it’s very hard to take it off and replace it without also pulling the Libre out.I shower every morning and it only usually starts to peel a little or fray (because I cut it to a smaller shape) after about 12 days. Since I combine Skin Tac with patching it is not a big deal to have the patch come off a couple days before the Libre expires as the Skin Tac will last for almost a week without the patch over top. In fact I like that I can take the patch off a couple days earlier anyway.I’ve hacked it to leave some of the backing in the middle so it doesn’t stick to my sensor but with cutting it smaller and hacking the backing putting a new patch on can take a few minutes vs a few seconds.I’ll probably keep buying these because they don’t make me itch and I already itch around the Libre penetration point after a few days (and I apply correctly with the alcohol swab etc) so anything that remove the itch even if it falls short a couple days is well worth my cost of living.

    Great product.
Bought these for my 11 yo T1D daughter for her freestyle libre. Multi colored pack. Easy to put on. Watcher proof for her showers and great for her playing sports without worry her sensor will be ripped off accidentally.

    Worth the purchase!
Works great over my sensor and pretty easy to remove . We were on vacation and I was in the pool for a lot of the time and didn’t worry about putting on sun screen or being in the pool for long periods of time.

The first time I bought these, I loved them. Immediately, the sensor felt more secure. I wouldn’t go without having a patch on ever.I have now bought five packs, and as time has gone on, I feel like the adhesive has been changing. The first pack lasted for two weeks, with some raising at the edges, but trimming kept everything in place and working well. The patches have been staying on for shorter and shorter periods. Now, on the fifth pack, the patches have only stayed on for an average of two days. Even more alarming, the adhesive is now making me itchy and giving me blisters. I’m going to have to find another solution.

This product is not returnable. I cleaned and prepped the area around my Libre2 sensor. Applied the patch. Within hours a section of the patch had lost its adhesion. Within two days 1/4 of it was peeled up. So I applied bandage tape to keep it on. After four days it was half off and I was in fear of it taking my Libre sensor right off with it. Because, of course it was stuck to that sensor very well. This product is junk. It completely came off and took my sensor with it with in 5 days. Not only can I not get my money back for the these patches but I lost $$$ on my sensor that normally lasts 14 days. Very very unhappy with this purchase.Do not recommend!!!!Also I purchased these because I swim and kayak and hoped it would help with keeping the sensor dry and affixed while doing these sports.

These have worked quite well so far, my husband is notorious for snagging his Libre and pulling it out and since buying these it has stayed in place. The only problem I have is trying to peel the back. The paper sticks to the patch and sort of peels (so one layer of paper comes off and a thinner layer is still stuck if that makes sense). Then I end up having to pick at it until it’s all exposed.

Patch has no non-stick centre. Backing is difficult to remove without the patch kinking. Competitors are much easier to apply.

These have already been a godsend in this hot summer for me. I tend to get into stuff, and have already ripped a couple of sensors out by accident doing more physical things. But ever since I have been putting one of these over my sensor routinely, I have yet to lose one. They do fray a bit on the edges, but the adhesion is great, lasting for a full two week period for me. I do lay a paper covering over the sensor to protect it in case I do have to remove the patch, but I haven’t had one come away on me yet. They have the added benefit that they don’t bother my usually quite sensitive skin that much, which is surprising as I even used to have a hard time with infusion sites. I will be buying more of these for sure. And I love the vivid colours. They’re so much fun. It makes the conversations that inevitably come up with people a bit brighter… And it gives me peace of mind if some rando wants to poke my arm and ask me what my sensor is.
