Great for rehab exercises post knee replacement surgery
I got this strap years ago to use post- total knee replacement surgery. I still use it on occasion, when my legs become stiff. The mix of stretchy and non-stretchy loops is comfortable and convenient for rehab exercises. My sister is having her knee replaced as well, and I already bought one of those straps for her to use after her surgery next month. This is an excellent, great quality strap that has endured use through the years. It’s also less expensive than most. It’s very much worth it.

Affordable and gets the job done
I know it is hard to get excited by something as mundane as a stretch strap, but I have to say that my wife and I really like this one. It is a simple yet essential therapeutic aid that must function well or else it will add to the physical and mental distress associated with whatever condition is causing you to use the strap. If you are using it for yoga, if it did not function well it would be frustrating, thus disturbing the mindfulness and tranquility that ideally would be present during one’s yoga exercises. This strap is sturdy, it functions as it is supposed to and the price is reasonable. The only reason I have deleted one star is that there are two tiny areas where the cotton threads appear to be fraying slightly. If the situation worsens I will update this report and the rating.

One of my favorite purchases ever!
One of my favorite purchases ever!I played many sports growing up. I think elasticity/flexibility is, easily, the most important thing when it comes to preventing injury. Tennis, TKD, jiu-jitsu, swimming, baseball, wrestling, golf, and others – without ever really getting injured, which I attribute to TKD.We spent a lot of time stretching in TKD — intense stretching.Upper Body:In tennis we’d use the tennis racket to assist in upper body stretching, in baseball it was the bat, in golf the club, in TKD the belt, etc.Lower Body:Where TKD really stood out above the rest of the sports was in lower body. When stretching legs, it was always with a partner. We’d gently reach the point to where we could feel a strong stretch, at which point we’d queue a partner to help put pressure in the direction of the stretch – gently, of course – until we felt we had reached our absolute max. This added 10%-20% more pull.In wrestling I remember using jump rope (wrapping around a post of tip of the foot, etc). Conclusion:It’s been almost 20 years since my TKD days. And I REALLY miss my flexibility. I’m very flexible when compared to other adults my age, but I am nowhere near to where I would be, had I continued stretching that way through the years. There are so many fake/ineffective products out there — I remember this from my TKD days. We’d get free trials for many, many products, and almost none really made an impact. When I saw this band, though… wow. This band reminded me of my wrestling/jump-rope days – the closest I had ever gotten to TKD stretching, without a partner. But I knew it’d be better just by looking at it.Bought it, used it, loved it. If you want to increase your flexibility for sports (including MMA/BJJ), get this band.

When using the strap the progressive loops are not equal on both sides so using it to stretch evenly is not possible. Very solidly sewn but the attention to detail is not there.
