Finally, Shoes That Don’t Hurt My Bunions
I bought these shoes because I struggle with bunions, and most “normal” shoes hurt like hell after even a short walk. These have been a game changer. The wider fit and flexible design mean I can walk comfortably without pain, and what’s even better is that I feel fine even after taking them off — no lingering soreness or pressure. The shoes are lightweight, breathable, and supportive in all the right places. They don’t rub on sensitive spots, and I don’t get the pinching I’ve experienced with other brands. The cushioning makes daily walking much more comfortable, and I’ve found I can wear them for hours without issues. For anyone dealing with bunions or foot pain, these are an excellent choice. They’ve allowed me to stay active without dreading the discomfort that usually comes with wearing shoes.TL;DR: Perfect shoes for bunions — no pain while walking, no soreness afterward, and very comfortable to wear daily.

I WISH I BOUGHT THESE YEARS AGO
A friend of mine recommended Whitin shoes to me a year ago, but I was living in Hawaii and barely ever wore shoes to begin with. Once we moved to the mainland, I needed sneakers for the gym and realized that after being mostly barefoot for almost three years made it literally painful to wear “normal” sneakers!I looked up a ton of different barefoot shoes of various brands and price ranges. My husband had a pair of the Flux Footwear training sneakers and didn’t love them. I remembered my friend’s recommendation of Whitin sneakers, so I gave it a shot. I went with these runners as they seemed to look most similar to things I’ve worn in the past.I WISH I BOUGHT THESE YEARS AGO! The quality is great – they are sturdy and well-constructed. It’s the first pair of shoes I’ve worn that didn’t need a week or two of a painful “breaking in” period. They were comfortable from the start! I wore them immediately on a 3 mile hike and absolutely loved it. The shoes give my toes room to breath while also keeping my feet protected. It’s a great price – even if they don’t last super long due to quick wear (which I have not noticed yet) it’s not a big deal to replace them with this price tag. For sizing, I did the paper trick: step on a sheet of paper and draw a line at the top and bottom of your foot and measure the in-between. I was a true 9 and the shoes fit great!10/10 would recommend!

    Comfort of shoes
Good product. Second pair of this brand purchased. Length is a little short for size purchased. Width is good although the height of the shoe box rubs against the top of the toes.

    Comfortable and roomy
I’ve never owned wide toe box or zero drop shoes so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect with these, but I knew I needed more toe space. These have been great, so comfy, and made going for walks enjoyable again. They have held up well after a couple months of wear and stay comfortable throughout the day. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for an affordable wide toe box walking shoe.

    Comfortable but not non slip
These don’t have a lot of padding inside the shoes but they are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. I don’t have wide feet but my toes like to spread out when I walk and I’m on my feet all day at work. They’ve relieved toe pain and no more blisters between my pinky toes and the toe next to it. Super lightweight and true to size. I went with white because that was the color my uniform requires. Would recommend if your pinky toes need space to spread for balance when you walk. However they are not anti slip so keep that in mind.

    Checks all the boxes
Wide toebox with cushion – these are my new running/workout shoes! I’ve worn them for about a month and am very pleased. I don’t like anything with a narrow toe box, but I didn’t want a minimalist “barefoot” style shoe anymore (both because I want more cushion and I don’t feel like paying a premium for something made of so little). The fit is standard (I’m always an 8, and I’m an 8 in these), the quality good, the price is right, the look fairly normal (not too goofy or obviously wide like some other brands might be). Hopefully they last a reasonable amount of time – if so I’ll buy again.

Not recommended for being on your feet all day
I am on my feet all day at work – 9 hours. I read the reviews on these shoes so I decided to give them a shot. The first day I wore them, my feet were tired, but no pain. The second time I wore them, I tried them with additional insoles to help with the cushion. But that made my Achilles tendon hurt so badly. They’re comfortable for walking if you don’t have far to go.I did like the color, and got multiple compliments on them.I did size down a 1/2 size. As I’ve been searching for shoes, I’ve tried several wide toe box shoes. What I’ve found is that with that style, the rest of the shoe seems to also be a bit wider. Sizing down helped. The sole isn’t very thick.

Don’t waste your time, they’re not worth it.
I bought these because I read through several positive reviews. Now that I’ve received the item and tried it on, I don’t agree with any of the reviews. I’m confused who these people are??? I am a size Women’s 8.5, and I do prefer a wide shoe. Since there was no half sizes, I bought an 8 and 9. The 8 is too small, and they 9 is too big. Hmmm…..you know how to solve that problem??? You make half sizes. Crazy.

These are exactly what I needed. My job has me moving, crouching, squatting, on tip toes, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying stuff all day. Since my feet supinate I can end up with a rolled ankle easily in regular shoes. Being able to spread my toes keeps my ankle stable and prevents it. These are reasonably priced and great quality. I’m sure I’ll be purchasing more Whitin shoes in the future.I’m always a bit hesitant to review things on Amazon that I’d like to purchase again later. Once something’s in demand sellers seem to jack the prices up. Hopefully, that won’t be the case. 😬
