I love the functionality and quality of these! I looked at a couple of other adjustable weights of this type. These were a couple of dollars less than the others.The mechanism to add and remove weights works easily. Plates stay in place during use.I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

Great except for directions
Great idea and definitely better than the old clamp on metal weights or a set of 5 separate dumbbells. I took away a star because the directions are too small for old people to easily read ( I used a magnifying glass) and wrong. They describe concave and convex surfaces which mean curved in or out. The dumbbell weights are grooved or slottedon one side with a raised ridge on the other that fits in the groove then slides on. I know that’s picky but I didn’t look at the picture closely and struggled to take off the weights when they first arrived. Hope that helps some other old lady.

Great Flexibility
Just received these today and I am very please with them. They are well made with an ingenious and well thought out design for adding and subtracting weight. I expect they will hold up well over time and use. There is one intersting quirk about the product… the bare single dumbell (no additional weights) weighs 2lb 3.4 oz. the add-on weights weigh 9oz. This being the case, there is no way to achieve the advertised 2,3,4 and 5 pound dumbells.Not very meaningful in the real world but ‘not as advertised’.
