To get correct measurement results, follow the rules
Rest before measuring
Please rest for at least 10 minutes and take the measurement in a relaxed state. Before you start the measurement, sit comfortably at a table. The feet should rest on the floor, your back straight. Relax and breathe calmly.
Place the device
Put the cuff over your left arm half an inch below your wrist. Fix it firmly with the velcro. Place your elbow on the table, so that the device is on the same level with your heart.
Press the button
Open your palm and turn on the BP monitor. During the measurement, try not to move. Relax, breathe deeply, hold your arm steady and avoid speaking.
Get the result
You will learn the measurement results within 45 seconds. It is important not to measure the blood pressure several times in a row without removing the band. The intervals between measurements should be at least 5 minutes.

Why do I get results that are too low or too high?
When the body is bent and the sitting position is wrong, it is easy to mistake the product’s cuff to be at the same height as the human heart. Therefore, when the product cuff is higher than the heart, the blood pressure measurement result will be on the low side, and when the product cuff is lower than the heart, the blood pressure measurement result will be on the high side.
Why is it better to measure blood pressure at the same time every day?
The blood pressure value of the human body changes in different periods of the day, so the user thinks that the blood pressure value on the same day should be unchanged, so they think the measurement result is inaccurate.
Why shouldn’t a cuff be worn like a watch?
If wearing the blood pressure monitor like a watch in a wrong way, the signal will be very weak, which resulting in inaccurate blood pressure measurement. The main signal acquisition for product measurement is the cuff, and the cuff must be collected at the inner side of the wrist, because the arterial signal at this position is relatively strong, and then the analog and digital signals can be converted to the MCU to calculate the blood pressure value.
Why is it not recommended to talk during measurements?
The blood pressure measurement technology is the oscillometric method. If you speak or move during the measurement, the cuff and sensor will also detect these interference signals, which will cause the MCU to misread these signals and participate in the algorithm, so the measurement results will be inaccurate.
Factors that may affect the real values of the arterial blood pressure
Сuff is not at the heart level If it is positioned lower than the heart, the measurement result will be higher than normal. Whereas if it is positioned higher than the heart, the measurement result will be lower than normal. These differences can increase/decrease your systolic blood pressure 2mmHg for every inch above/below your heart level. Back without support Diastolic blood pressure measurement may be increased by 6 mmHg. Crossing legs Increase systolic blood pressure by 2 to 8 mmHg. Talking Increase systolic blood pressure by 10 to 15 mmHg. Not resting 5-10 minutes Increase systolic blood pressure measurement 10 to 20 mmHg. I recently purchased the PARAMED Automatic Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor, and I’m very satisfied with it. The monitor is lightweight, compact, and easy to use perfect for keeping at home or taking on the go. The digital screen is clear and large enough to read without straining, and the instructions were straightforward, so setup only took a couple of minutes.The cuff fits comfortably on the wrist, and the readings are quick, usually within 30 seconds. I tested it multiple times to check consistency, and the results were accurate when compared with a standard arm cuff at my doctor’s office. I also like that it stores past readings, which makes it easy to keep track of trends without having to write everything down.
These were just what I was looking for. Wanted a boot for work that was casual enough for a construction office. Walking around NYC with these for a week now and they are very comfy. Color is as expected. May purchase in another color. –

Inaccurate and frustrating to use
I bought this Paramed wrist blood pressure monitor hoping it would be an easy way to check my blood pressure at home, but it’s been nothing but frustrating. The readings are all over the place — one minute it says my pressure is super high, the next it’s way too low. I’ve tried following all the directions, keeping my wrist at heart level, sitting still, everything, and it still gives random results.The cuff feels cheap and doesn’t tighten evenly, and half the time the monitor either errors out or shuts off mid-reading. My wrist is small but should be close to average for many women and no matter how much a pull and try to tighten, it still flops around on my wrist and very loose. It’s basically useless if you’re trying to track your health accurately. I wish I had spent a little more for something that actually works.

Not worth it
This blood pressure monitor was very disappointing. The readings are inconsistent and often way off compared to a standard cuff at the doctor’s office. The wrist design makes it hard to position correctly, and even when following the instructions, I’d get a different result every time. The cuff also feels cheaply made and uncomfortable. Definitely not reliable if you want accurate health information.

I am blown away on the accuracy. I purchased a the popular IHealth arm cuff monitor because I was told they are more accurate than wrist. Well that monitor gave me so much anxiety I almost ended going to the ER multiple times with reading similar to 160/140!!! I researched a lot and ended up getting an Omron arm cuff. I was getting different kind of wild numbers on it such as low systolic BP and high dystolic. Used it for five six days with many readings during the day and it never showed a difference of more than 20 in the top and bottom #s (for example 90/80, 100/90, 90/75, 110/90, 120/100 slight variations of that).BOTH IHealth and Omron gave me extreme anxiety thinking something was wrong with me.Meanwhile I kept using this wrist monitor that was showing me more realistic #s to the way I actually felt. I decided to test it out against a professional CVS monitor and was blown away with the results. It confirmed my thoughts from the beginning that this monitor was the most accurate out of all of the 3. While I still have a long way to get my BP under control I do trust this machine. See pictures, they speak for themselves.Note: While I know Omron is a great trusted brand and I most likely got a faulty, wrongly collaborated one I feel confident now this wrist one gives me accurate results just as I suspected all along.

Only buy if you’re tech savvy!
I’m pretty good at figuring things out but I still have much to learn about the watch. I finally was able to send a text message.I have another step watch that is easier to use, so I ware both. People look at me crazy.I like that I can use Alexa with this watch, measure my bp and the app itself is great.On the app I can write what I eat. See my sleep habits. It gives you lots of information about sleep and food habits.I bought the ear buds but haven’t used them yet.I really like the six different covers that I bought. Very stylish.I’m sure that if I spend enough time I could figure it out.
